Where to eat in Bali
66 places across the island — from 30,000 rupiah warung plates to cliff-edge tasting menus. Filter by area, cuisine, price, alcohol licence, vegan options, whether it suits children, and how hard it is to actually reach.

How we price things
- $ — under 50k IDR a plate. Local warung pricing.
- $$ — 50–120k IDR a plate. Everyday cafes and casual spots.
- $$$ — 120–250k IDR a main. Tourist-area restaurants.
- $$$$ — 250–450k IDR a main. Upmarket dining, beach clubs.
- $$$$$ — 450k IDR and up, or set menus. Special occasion.
Eating well in Bali
- A busy warung is a safe warung — high turnover means fresh food.
- "Licensed" means beer, wine or cocktails are served. Many family warungs are dry.
- Say "tidak pedas" for no chilli, and "tanpa daging" for no meat.
- Most restaurants add 15–21% tax and service; check whether it's already in the menu price.
- Cliff and beach venues often mean stairs. We flag anything harder than a flat walk.
- Tap water is not drinkable — stick to bottled, and skip ice only at very rough roadside stalls.
