Getting around
Easy cycling and walking, low traffic by Bali standards. Grab and Gojek are unrestricted. Fast boats to Nusa Penida and Lembongan leave from here.
Eating and drinking
Long-running local restaurants along Jl. Danau Tamblingan, beachfront seafood, and a genuinely good breakfast scene. Nightlife is minimal.
Worth knowing
Sunrise side of the island. Low tide exposes the reef, so swimming windows matter.
